BINDS

What Is A Bind?
Binds are shortcuts to express an emotion or action for what you are doing or thinking. For example you could say: Talk to you later, simply by typing in /ttyl. Just make sure to type a / before any of the commands and your all set. The commands are anything in front of the = sign.

Here are some examples of binds:

/bbl = I'll be back later.
/b4n = Bye for now.
/ttyl = Talk to you later.
/brb = I'll be right back.
/lol = me laughs out loud!
/rofl = me rolls on floor laughing!!
/lmao = me laughs my (_I_) off!!
/q = *^%@~!
&* QUEEN!!!
/ttfn = Ta-Ta For Now.
/ty = Thank You.
/gg = Good Game
/gga = Good Game All
/wb = Welcome Back
/jk = Just Kidding.
/wtg = WAY TO GO!!
/z = ZZZzzzZZZzzz

Make Your Own Binds:
You can even make your own! To make one you will want to use the chat log window in the lobby. Here is the format:

/bind {the letters you want to bind} = {what you want to say or do}

For example:
/bind gsg = I'm gonna start a game.

Then all you'll have to type in is: /gsg, and it will display I'm gonna start a game., in the chat box.

Or for action:
/bind smooches = /me blows a kiss to everyone.

Then all you'll have to do is type in: /smooches
If your name is Joyzie, it would then do an action that says: "Joyzie blows a kiss to everyone."

Chat Commands:
Lets talk about a few commands that modify your chat balloons.

First, there is the action /me you can type this at the beginning of any chat {in game} and it will announce an action about you.
Example: /me thinks you're wonderful!
"Joyzie thinks you're wonderful!"

/me's will add the  's  to your name.
Example: /me's jaw just dropped!
"Joyzie's jaw just dropped ."

/Yell will make a spiky chat balloon which is great for things like:
/Yell Hey! Stop kicking me!!!
 "Hey! Stop kicking me!!!"

/think is used for thoughts you'd like to share. It will make a thought balloon.
Example: /think Hmmmm, Do I look like an idiot?!?!
"Hmmmm, Do I look like an idiot?!?!"

Some these are available by Right clicking on the chat balloon.

Binding In Color:
The color code MUST be in small letters......

Example: JOYZIE HUGS DAVE!
/bind  jhd=~[c33ff00]JOYZIE ~[cff00ff]HUGS ~[cffff00]DAVE!
 *** then hit enter***

Don't forget to space after each word.To use this once it's binded you would just type in:
/jhd......and it would say JOYZIE HUGS DAVE!

Note:
***Change the words to what YOU want to say.
***Change the color codes to the ones that are the colors of YOUR choice.

Binding Multi-Rainbow:

Example: HUGS
/bind hugs=~[c33ff00]H~[cffff00]U~[cff00ff]G~[c66ffff]S
***hit enter***

Spacing isn't necessary for color binding a word, only between words in a sentence. To use this once it's binded, all you have to do is type:
/hugs......and it would say HUGS

***Don't use caps in words after /bind and don't use caps when you type /hugs it will give you an error...how you type in after each code is how it will appear.

Do not flood busy lobbies by making binds. Go to another room that isn't full.

Color Fading:
To my knowledge, there isn't a bind for color fading. You're gonna have to do that yourself by using colors that are close to each other and using the code for multi colored binds above.

Start with the darkest color first, going to the lightest and then back to the darkest, etc.

Example: hugs and kisses
/bind hk=~[cff00cc]h~[cff33cc]u~[cff66cc]g~[cff99cc]s  ~[cff66cc]a~cff33cc]n~[cff00cc]d  ~[cff33cc]k~[cff66cc]i~[cff99cc]s~[cff66cc]s~[cff33cc]e~[cff00cc]s

How To Use A Fader:

You can use any fader you want. I'm going to give you an example of one and show you how to use it, then you can use one of your own.

This is the site you're gonna go to, to produce your fader.

It's easy to use.
Here's what you do:
  1. Type your message in.
  2. Using the scroll down menu, choose the colors you want to use.
  3. Choose the size text you want.
  4. Check Two-Way {optional}
  5. Click on fade me.
After you found the colors you like and you like the way it looks when you faded it, you scroll down and click where it says codes. This will give you the color codes for the message you faded.

Now, either manually, one by one, or using an editor, you replace </FONT >< FONT COLOR="# { don't leave spaces between < and font} for ~[c and replace "> for ] . Now replace < FONT SIZE="+1]< FONT COLOR="# for ~[c br>In other words, when it says < FONT COLOR="#cabea55" > you will change it, so it will look like this: ~[cabea55]
I'll give you an example.
I typed my message: "How To Use A Fader"
then I chose starting color=Fuchsia
color 2 = DeepSkyBlue
color 3 = Yellow
ending color =Fuchsia
I checked the box for Two-Way
Then I clicked on fade me and it gave me this message:
How To Use A Fader

Next, I clicked below where it says codes. I copied all of the font code it gave me and pasted it in my Microsoft Word. Then, I chose replace ,
and replaced all places where it says < /FONT >< FONT COLOR="#, and put instead to replace it with ~[c , and also replaced all places where it says ">and replaced it for ]

At the end, it looked like this:
~[cff00ff]H~[c8060ff]o~[c00bfff]w~[c55d5ab] ~[cabea55]T~[cffff00]o~[cffab55] ~[cff55ab]U~[cff00ff]s~[cff55ab]e~[cffab55] ~[cffff00]A~[cabea55] ~[c55d5ab]F~[c00bfff]a~[c5580ff]d~[cab40ff]e~[cff00ff]r

Now I was ready to bind it. Here's what my bind looked like:
/bind fader=~[cff00ff]H~[c8060ff]o~[c00bfff]w~[c55d5ab] ~[cabea55]T~[cffff00]o~[cffab55] ~[cff55ab]U~[cff00ff]s~[cff55ab]e~[cffab55] ~[cffff00]A~[cabea55] ~[c55d5ab]F~[c00bfff]a~[c5580ff]d~[cab40ff]e~[cff00ff]r

Now copy the entire code and paste it in the chat box and make the bind.

If it won't allow you to submit it, due to being too long, then you'll have to move onto the next section called "How To Make Long Binds".

How To Make Long Binds:

1. Make sure you have Hardwood closed before you do this!!!
2. Open the windows explorer.
3. Go to Hardwood folder located in program files.
4. There is a file there called ChatAlias.dna, you open it. { I opened it with my Microsoft Wordpad}
5. You will find all the binds you have made in Hardwood. On the bottom of the file you are going to add:
fader=~[cff00ff]H~[c8060ff]o~[c00bfff]w~[c55d5ab] ~[cabea55]T~[cffff00]o~[cffab55] ~[cff55ab]U~[cff00ff]s~[cff55ab]e~[cffab55] ~[cffff00]A~[cabea55] ~[c55d5ab]F~[c00bfff]a~[c5580ff]d~[cab40ff]e~[cff00ff]r {DON'T add in /bind }
6. Click on file in the top left corner, then click save.
7. Close the ChatAlias file, open Hardwood, then type in the lobby chat box /fader
